Science
 
My work is based on thirty-five years of
Harvard Medical School Relaxation Response research which has repeatedly proven that
reducing your stress is one of the most important things you can do to live a longer, healthier,
and happier life. A state of relaxation actually changes your body/brain chemistry and physiology for the better.
 
You will learn a variety of mind/body 
strategies - including EFT, NLP, self-hypnosis,
and Relaxation Response - for reducing your
general level of stress, and, more important-ly, targeting and clearing the specific stressors
that are making your day-to-day life difficult.
 
These mind/body strategies are where cutting edge neuroscience meets
ancient Eastern approaches to healing. These approaches utilize your brain's
natural sensory perception, memory processing, and analytical abilities to reduce
your stress response, interrupting the biochemical mind/body feedback loop that holds
problems in place. Reducing stress promotes the creation of an internal environ-
ment that supports physical health and emotional wellbeing. Dramatic new
epigenetic research conducted by my teacher, Dr. Herbert Benson, and his team at Harvard Medical School proves that even the activation of your genes
can be changed for the better by using these techniques on a regular basis.

Mind body strategies work so well in conjunction with traditional medical and psychological treatment because they reprogram the information processing areas of your brain. It's as if we can communicate with the brain in its own language and tell it to calm down.
